Sky Tv

I might be getting sky tv so have a few questions...

1) How does the sky box connect to the tv?

2) If you have sky mulitroom, is it ok for only ONE of the boxs to be connected or do they all have to be connected to a phone line.

3) Can yoou get sky multiroom twice? i.e two subscriptions for two other tvs?

Re: Sky Tv

1: Scart

2: Yes. Both need to be connected (and they do check)

3: I think so. Should be a tenner for each box extra. Plus the initial purchase.

Re: Sky Tv

Yup they all need to be connected or you will be charged full price for the subscription on the 2nd boxes.

There is just a standard RF port on the back of the boxes so you could tune it into the aerial of the TV that way.

Re: Sky Tv

A Sky digibox has two scart sockets, two RF outputs and L&R audio sockets.

As an aside I have just seen an article on how to stream Sky to PCs on your network or to remote locations like your workplace. Wonder how legal this is? http://www.comp.lancs.ac.uk/computin.../howto/sky.htm
