Ethernet Problems.

Hello, I have been using the USB connection with my Terayon TJ210 up until now, and I would like to switch to Ethernet (I'm planning on installing wireless for Christmas).

When I plug in the ethernet the green "PC" light on the modem does not light up (Power and Cable do light up) and my network connection shows it's searching for an address, eventually it says something about my connection is limited or no existant.

I have tried uninstalling USB drivers, switching off PC and modem for a few minutes before plugging the ethernet in, ipconfig /release /renew (it says it cannot contact DCHP), etc. So far nothing has worked.

I thought it may have been the ethernet port on the modem, but I have used it before, a long time ago, and it worked fine (perhaps it's broken since then?).

Perhaps it's a problem with the PC ethernet card - I have an ASRock Combo-Z motherboard with OnBoard LAN - if that helps. I have ordered a new motherboard, so maybe it will work with it when it arrives.

Any help would be appreciated.
