BT Fibre - Anyway to know when an exchange is being worked on?

I know there's pages which show you the estimated activation dates, but I Was wondering if there's anyway to find out when or if an exchange is currently being upgraded/worked on?

My exchange (Worthing Swandean) was supposed to be activated on June 1st, but hasn't been (From samknows)

The BT site says June 30th

new cabinets will be popping up round and about, my estimate is september and cabinets are popping up in places

BT's estimated dates are very rough (to the nearest 3 months) estimates for a certain number cabs to go live, not the whole exchange.

Samknows' data is also woefully out of date.

Exchange activation dates aren't usually relevant or important to most people though, what really matters is if/when your individual cabinet gets activated.

Part of the data this site uses is based on an Openreach spreadsheet from December 2011 that was leaked. They haven't been so careless with later ones but at least you cah check if your cabinet (using postcode to check) is included in the plans.

IIRC that website actually uses newer leaked data, but hasn't in turn leaked that data in full.

Maybe but the page doesn't admit to that and nor does the bloke who owns the site - it's MrSaffron - a mod on the TBB forums which is where I found the URL a while ago.

The only signs I've seen around Lincoln are a lot of very hot and muddy techs toiling and cursing in the old ducting around the city. Using the old ducting probably seems like a good idea in the boardroom but the reality of blocked and collapsed infrastructure is clearly delaying the process.

Unless I misread, the TBB forums are where people have said it did include newer data.

Doesn't mean it'll actually take that long though, 3 months is just the maximum granularity of their estimations. Could still happen 1st July - though unlikely.

Tadley has been bumped from Dec 2011 to June 2012 to Sept 2012 and now to Dec 31 2012. Still nothing. Anyone have any new info??
