Glad you got it sorted Rob, just a shame that not everybody has access to a site such as this - makes you wonder what the other poor buggers that Clara mess around do to get things resolved.

As a final update I'm pleased to confirm that my office's ADSL migration occured sometime yesterday afternoon. Clara.net were good to their word and kept their connection running until the migration was complete.

Indeed. I'm glad this is sorted, but how unfortunate that a Clara.net customer had to post his awful customer experience on a public forum before Clara.net became interested in actually taking ownership of the issue and dealing with it, rather than being satisfied with their mediocre, understaffed technical 'support'.

It would appear that Clara.net's billing procedures are out of step with reality. Today, and despite a phone call responding to last months letters from their accounts to remind Clara of the facts, I get a notice of suspension of service for non payment. It's all been cancelled guys, as well you know

Unbelievably, or perhaps it is only to be expected from this shabby organisation, Clara.net are now threatening legal action for recovery of the costs for them having temporarily extended the services.

After a few prods to the powers that be, i.e. Mr Tavernor, Clara's accounts department have now cancelled the bill. Shame they couldn't do that a few weeks ago when they were told to way back then to speak to Mr Tavernor.

What a lot of effort this has all taken
