Lightbulb bt home hub 2.1 PHONES

hi,

i hope this isn't a stupid question.

having recently moved my BT line/broad band to VM i wondered if it was possible to register my home hub phones onto any GAP phoneunit instaed of the BT HOME HUB.

i can de-register the phones but when it comes to registering onto new base unit nothing appear.

just wondered what people do with there home hub phones when they are no longer with bt broadband ???

I do believe, they can only be activated on BT Home Hub - however, I could be wrong.
