They are a flaming nuicence, they now even own AOL UK and Tiscali UK, I don't understand why they keep advertising and taking over companies when they can't deliver to the customers they have already got!

Talk talk is the bigger pile of I cant say, that on this forum. They seem to have come from no where, with a shed load of cash. Well, they won't transfer clients onto their Network, they will still use the network of the company they have bought. Either that, or maybe improove current infastructure. Who knows.

Re: Talk talk broadband down?

Talktalk and Orange advertised its internet service in the days of when there local loop unbundled network covered like 2% of the country and took ages to expand it, it then used poor advertising saying you can get up to 8MB broadband, people thought that was the actual speed you could get.

Therefore these two companies where adding customers and not delivering what they promised, if they had any brains they should have used there advertising campaigns after there network infrastructures had been rolled out. Orange last year was loosing around 180,000 home broadband customers per quarter, this is bad! Customers where only getting up to 512K speeds.

Bulldog did the same and took customers money before they could even start providing service to the customer, this is where they ran into trouble and now its in the hands of Tiscali who guess what are now owned by TalkTalk!

Virgin Broadband seems the best or if your lucky enough to be in one of BT's fibre optic areas, then maybe that will be ok too.
