Sky have confirmed that they are going to be making some changes to their broadband products.
"Mid" is being renamed "Everyday". The monthly usage limit is being slashed from 40GB to 10GB; the download is being increased from
up to 8Mbps to
up to 10Mbps; and the upload is being increased from
up to 400kbps to
up to 600kbps.
"Max" is being renamed "Unlimited". The monthly usage limit remains unlimited, with no FUP; the download is being increased from
up to 16Mbps to
up to 20Mbps; and the upload is being increased from
up to 768kbps to
up to 1.3Mbps.
For new customers, the new packages take effect from the 22nd June. For existing customers, the changes are being rolled out over the next few months.
