Looks like another Access Network dark fibre supplier is getting going in Cardiff.

I've never heard of them.

Although Ofcom has just granted them a licence to excavate in the highway if required.

Could be a whole new rebirth of the local telecoms industry.

Perhaps new companies will pop up all over providing this service?

Risky though if they invest in building the network and no one takes up their services

Nah!! If they are up against BT or Virgin there will probably be casualties during the stampede to sign up for the new service. No risk whatsoever.
