Low user alternative t0 VM?

Hello, an elderly neighbour who is on VM would like some broadband but not enough to warrant paying VM Â£17 is per month.

As she does not have a BT cable she cannot get the majority of cheaper options available, are there any other broadband services that she can use for very light use?
(1gb PM will be more than adequate).

If you are in a reasonably good area for mobile signal (they can normally check this for you) a solution for light usage might be a data card/stick/dongle

They are a tenner though, I was looking for something less for her.

I take it she has VM phone service. Remember that if she cancels the BB, she'll have to pay Â£ 14.45 / month to keep the phone (phone L package Â£ 3.45 + line rental @ Â£ 11).

I think she has cancelled the TV service & got freeview type stuff instead.
She only has the phone now (I think)

BB L with a phoneline is Â£14 a month (+ Â£11 phoneline)

Doubtful you could find anything else cheaper without a BT line.

Most mobile dongles are usually around Â£15
