just a query...

I'm not saying we're fed up of VM, but we are looking more at mobile internet.
Some of the offers seem pretty good.. but, which would you recommend?
We'd need two because there are two of us (I hate sharing )
My partner is a musician and needs to send files here and there for what he does and he's partial to downloading the odd game now and then too - and I'm more the 'light' user - flash gaming, facebook and maybe the ocassional video/photo upload plus a once-weekly live internet radio broadcast of 2 hours duration...

If we were more portable, then we wouldn't have to be sat in the same spot all day or stay within range of the router signal (which on some ocassions can let us down in new and interesting ways... )

As for operating systems: Xp home (pc), vista home premium (laptop) and macbook...

Any advice offered will be considered.
thanks!

For any more than very light use, don't touch mobile Internet with a barge pole, you'd also want to know how good the signal for the network you were thinking about going for is inside your house and wether you can get a strong enough 3G (or better) signal

Definately steer clear of mobile internet if you are shifting large files around, it's ok for general browsing when needed but I certainly wouldn't rely on it.
