unhappy ntl customer

Hi All

Im really at my wits end at the moment with ntl i have no end of problems with my internet [my upload speeds drop to zero when people download off me, see [post in forum],can anyone recommend anyone who i could have at least a 3 mb or higher broadband,

Caroline - what is happening when you are uploading? If it's through a programme can you control the speed you upload through? set it to 70% of the upload capacity and things should be much free-er

You'll only get 3Mb+ on ADSL on an unbundled exchange, as currently the max BT will offer, afaik, is 2Mb. Otherwise, Telewest do high speeds, but you'll not get it if you're in an NTL area
