hey guys hows it going.

i just got ntl broadband+digital setup everythings okay but the modem..and yup. you guessed it...sync light flashing :p

i phoned ntl and they said that its an external problem and tht a 2nd level team is dealing with it and it would take 4 days tops for it to sorted out...

when the engineer came over to install everything he took two hours trying to install the modem and said he will get someone else to come over...

now am not complaining or anything but just interested, what is this about??

this is NTL in Galway, Ireland btw never had those type of problems back in oxford

Ntl Ireland are nothing to do with Ntl Uk. Indeed I'm not even sure if the Ireland ntl is still part of the ntl parent group, there was a lot of talk of it being sold off.

From what you are saying it suggests there is some fo0rm of network fault. You'll have to wait for the Irish group to get therie act together, and pester them if they don't.
