I realise this has been asked a couple of times already, but please bear with me as there are a couple of other things I would like to confirm! I will be joining the incoming Virgin Media cable to a length of WF100 which has been buried in the wall.
I'm not sure what size of PPC-EX6 connecters I should be using (and where I should be getting them from). Also, can you recommend a good crimping tool to use with these? Do you think it is worth it, or will the set up be just as good by using screw type (or compressed fit) F type connectors? To join the two cables together, I would need a fitting like this
. Will an F-type end to end connector do the job for EX6 connectors?
Also, I'm looking to get hold of a Virgin Media faceplate, as I've read that a standard F type wall termination plate is not of a good enough quality for VM. Does anyone know where I would be able to get one from?
