At upgrade install can i move equipment
When i had bb installed many moons ago VM ran the cable up the outside wall and into the 1st floor bedroom which is where i have the modem and wireless router attached to the PC. Now i no longer use the PC and next week i'm upgrading to 50meg so my question is.......will i be allowed to have the hub in the front room (there is already a cable for the tv) and more importantly will the new style hub not need to be plugged in to a pc. The family only use laptops so i'm hoping to get rid of the pc. Am i right in thinking they can wire up the new superhub which will send a wireless signal round the house without having to plug the superhub into any computer.
I hopes this makes sense as I'm not very techy but would appreciate any advise and clarification if this can be done.
