Re: cabling before driveway done

Why not use some waste pipe (as suggested), bathroom waste is about 32mm, smooth inside & will allow a cable to pull through easily, use the correct straight fittings for a waterproof joint.

What cable is used and can I do it myself?

Lay this between the point on the house where you want the cable to enter, and as near as possible to the duct in the road.

You might want to put some string or thin cable (phone wire etc) in to draw the VM cable thru when the time comes. If you use a cable it should be easy to push through with the conduit straightened out.

Remember to knot something big enough each end of the string/cable to prevent any scroats pulling it out!
