Audio with DVI

I have my TV connected to v+ STB via DVI converter, and so have no sound, exactly what audio cables do I require and what connections do I use on V+ and LCD TV.

Re: Audio with DVI

Hi and to the forums.

DVI does not transport sound.

You will need a seperate cable that goes from the box to either your TV's sound input or some speakers / hifi amplifier.

Look to see at the back. Are there red and white phono connectors?
If yes, then you need a rca phono to phono cable like this:

If there is just one mini 3.5mm socket you will need this:
