Hello

not really good with computers and that does not help. We just got Virgin broadband last saturday with the TV and telephone. The last two work nicely so the cable is definetely working.

when I plug my computer to the modem and try to start the internet by clicking on Internet Explorer or another browser : no page is coming to the screen and I get a message of error. so no connection at all.
I tried to switch off the computer and then the modem at the main but still it does not work.
I guess there is something wrong with the comuter setting since I just got this computer from a relative but don't know what this is.

If you are an ex-ntl customer you will not be able to activate your broadband service till Sunday, due to system changes that are happening this week
