Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

Used to have a Pace D14000N and had 2 other TV's running off the set top box via a splitter and amplifier. Now have a new Samsung SMT2100C and get no signal. Should we be able to connect up in a similar way via the RF output or does the Samsung prevent this from working? Or is there a fault on the RF Output? Or is there another way to get this to work?

Re: Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

The RF output on a Samsung will only output the Cable channel, to get channels 1-5 you will need to plug an outside aerial into the back of the STB, which will then pass those signals through

Re: Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

You might just need to retune your TVs. The Samsung 2100 has exactly the same RF connections as the Pace 4000.

Re: Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

But the pace has an analogue bypass on which the Samsung won't, so they will only get whatever the box is tuned to

Re: Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

There is no bypass for the 4000. Are you confusing it with a 4001 or 4010? Anyway it sounds like pepsymax has got no signal at all.

Re: Adding extra TV to Samsung SMT box

Nothing showing on the TV's at all neither terrestrial (got no external aerial anyway so would not expect to) or cable and we used to be able to see watch same channel as on our main TV but in another room.
