telewest cable junction box

When the engineer installed my Telewest cable junction box a few years ago (about 7" x 4" with half sloping on one side) he put it in upside down - that is the cable outlets at the top not the bottom. I need to turn it the correct way up, but it has some strange castellated screw heads securing the top cover. Any idea what they are as I need a suitable screwdriver/spanner.

You'll need a tamperproof screwdriver

Re: telewest cable junction box

You may find that you will be unable to install it the correct way up due to the position of the hole the cable comes in through. To do it you may need to drill another hole which will need you to fit new connections to the cable.
What sometimes appears a small job can escalate.

There will be a reason why it is on upside down.

The problem has gone away now. When the engineers installed my V+ box on Thursday they had to change the offending Telewest wall outlet with a new Virgin model, much neater and fixed the right way up!

The Screws used on the Telewest / Virgin Wall Boxes usually fitted on the inside of your house are called 'System Zero'.

Here is the data sheet for them :

RS Components sell the Screws and the Screwedrivers for them !
