Virgin V+ keeps flashing - please help.

Hiya,

Hope you can help me.

Just had a Virgin V+ box installed; it is constantly flashing from programme to black screen and back to programme again - approx every 5 seconds. Can anyone help me please?

Much appreciated,
Lesley

Re: Virgin V+ keeps flashing - please help.

Sounds to me like the signals are not locked on properly/it is on the wrong frequency. You would be best giving faults a call and getting someone out, especially if it has only just been installed.

Being on the wrong frequency may also explain you missing your sports channels, it may not be that they have been removed off the system.

Re: Virgin V+ keeps flashing - please help.

I have seen this happen a few times with the HDMI connection.

Remove the HDMI cable at both ends. Power down the TV and the V+ at the mains.

Reconnect the HDMI cable then power it all back up.
