Slave TV

Hi All,

Some help would be appreciated.

Im trying to run a slave tv from my Telwest HD box to the kitchen (dont wanna miss anything whilst cooking). The old boxes would allow a RG59 cable to ran from the RF out point, however on the new boxes it seems to be kicking out no signals.

Does anyone know if the rf point is disabled with the HD lead in?

Regards

Re: Slave TV

Yes, using an HDMI lead disables the RF and SCART outputs.

Don't think it completely disables the SCART outputs - pretty sure you can still have a VCR connection so you could always run the TV line from there (this has worked for me to a PC before).

Re: Slave TV

Hi,

Cheers.

Thought as much from the HD lead. I tried from VCR but only rx'd the VHS, no cable. I might give it another go.

Thanks for your swift help. Much appreciated.
