erro 611

Hi,

viginmedia have done new installation for cable modem broadband. When I tried to finish the install by the cd, I am getting error 611. Interestingly I am able to ping the google.com and other any site on internet. But not able to browse any site or do any ftp.

I think the installation is not finished fully. I tried calling the 09xxx tech support number...it is continuously ringing...:-(

Can any one help on this?

Go to 192.168.100.1 password is root and root .Look at the config file is it at 10 something and the upstream is at 68 then the modem has not been reg yet
