Question Frankiesmom

We had virgin digital tv (originally Cable) before changeover.
This was run through a non digital tv and worked well.
We have just bought a new digital tv HD ready.
Now problems have started, we set the tv up from the autimatic installation, and now find that although we get all the anologue channels, plus some freeview digital channels, we can no longer pick up the virgin cable programs.
Also we cannot successfully program the tv to our VCR/DVD recorder.
Please can anyone help ?

What type of Set Top Box have you got for the cable service, and how have you got that connected to the TV - SCART lead? What is your subscription package to Virgin Media?

Re: Frankiesmom

I'm slightly confused... which service do you have from virgin media? Digital Cable or Analogue? Presumably you are connecting this to your STB and then the STB to your tv.

What kind of STB do you have? Samsung? V+? Pace? And how do you connect to your tv? Via scart?

Re: Frankiesmom

We have sorted the problem, this was done by using scart leads.
Thank you for replying, Rob and Chris.
