NTL are scheduled to come today to connect us for phone, internet and tv. I've left the other half in charge - hope everything goes ok.

Our welcome letter with pin numbers and stuff has yet to arrive though.

wasn't in the post this morning unfortunately.

Does this mean we won't be able to use any of the services until it arrivies or will we get limited services?

well they're currently installing.

they didn't have us down for the tv package! but they're installing anyway. They said we can call ntl to get the passwords and stuff rather than waiting for the letter. Could anyone provide me these via pm to save a call? I also need to sort out the tv now, we wanted the familiy package which i'm assuming we won't get as it wasn't on the order?

thinking back when i placed the order over the phone they did confirm that i had ordered the tv package and the price quoted did definetly include it!

Hey simon,

I didn't get my welcome letter with my PIN number before they did the installation. From what I remember you can call Customer Services (0800 052 2000) and get it from them.

Good luck, you will need to speak to NTL yourself and then tell NTL that you give your girlfriend permission to the deal with the account when you're not there.

CS is open until 8pm.

Hi!

When i had digital tv installed last week the engineer gave me a pin number and a welcome pack after i asked for it.
He forgot to tell me the channels might take a while to come on (family pack).
They finally came on about 18 hrs later

.
Had no problems since the install just wish I'd changed over from analogue sooner.

well the engineer has said to call so i guess they don't have any. Not sure how it all works.

We had sky in our last place so i'm used to lots of choice, these past few weeks on analoge have been very frustrating! We chose ntl because having phone, tv and internet all together worked out a hell of a lot cheaper than what we were paying.

too late. they're gone.

they said we can't use the internet until i get a "serial number" and "password" and input these into the software that comes with the cd?

apparently the tv is up and working ok and the phone will be on shortly.

I have a feeling (& I may well be wrong here-in fact I hope I am), but I think you are about to experience a dose of nt:hell in it's purest form.
