question about billing please

hi i have a question as to why i am getting charged for someone to phone a mobile phone for a few seconds ,but the person does not pick it up and he then phones my daughter back on his mobile,just looking through my bill and she rings his phone for 1-2 seconds and i am getting charged 23 pence plus vat

can anyone advise before i phone customer services in the morning thanks

Tell your daughter to stop calling that number as she is incurring the charge simply by calling him, Customer Services will probably advise you of the same thing.

Ask them to put a call restriction on your account preventing the calling of mobile phone numbers.

Then tell your daughter to purchase a mobile phone on the same network as the caller.

so even thou he doesn't answer the phone we are getting charged just for ringing that mobile maybe 1-3 times-----that cant be right surely if he has not answered it how can we get charged just for phoning a number

no answerphone dosent kick in she just rings his phone a couple of times so he phones her back cheers
