Can I switch voicemail off myself as virgin are totallt incapable of doing it for me. Phoned them 3 times in past 4 days. various stories about it taking 24 hours then 48 hours to kick in... then guy assures me it is deffo switched off. i phone my landline from my mobile... the friggin voicemail comes on...

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET IT SWITCHED OFF.
It prob is switched "off" but may still be on the switch/exchange for some reason. a call to VM faults should fix the issue.
