Virgin Media Telephone Extension

Can you do a telephone extension (from downstairs to upstairs), the same way as you would with a BT telephone socket, or is the wire different?

Thanks

Re: Virgin Media Telephone Extension

It should be no different but personally I just use cordless phones.

Virgin Media can fit extensions but they charge £50 and are guaranteed for 12 months.

Re: Virgin Media Telephone Extension

But cordless phones don't work if you have a power cut!
What about using something like a extension kit, depending on distance to other location?
(Argos do one for less than ten pounds 552/1704)

I would always advocate a corded phone which I also have fitted just for any such event, plus most people also have a mobile.

Most places do extension kits in one form or another such as B&Q.
