Since Sunday my telephone line has not been working. Basically if i call it from a mobile, my mobile gives a ringing tone, but the landline doesn't work. It doesn't ring. When I use the landline to dial it doesn't give the normal tone, just a crackling noise.
I have plugged different phones into the telephone socket and they all behave the same.
Has anyone had this experience? I am going to call Virgin but was just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before.
If you haven't called in already make sure that you have disconnected any extensions and try 2 different phones in the master socket... that's really all you can do to rule out a fault with your equipment.
