Just went to call out from my landline and no dialing tone, can call in on the mobile and hear it ringing but nothing from the phone, tried alternative landline phone same issue.

Sounds like it might be an outage.
Give faults a call on 0845 454 1111 they should run a switch check and find that the line is part of an outage and report it to 2nd line/surveilance. If it's not that then they'll need to book you a tech.
