No Dial Tone

How do I contact Virgin about my dead 'phone without it costing a small fortune from my mobile?

Re: No Dial Tone

Is there a telephone box outside, or a neighbours phone or you could try call them on your mobile and ask them to call you back as your landline is dead?

Re: No Dial Tone

Just had an e-mail from Virgin saying that the earliest they can send someone out to sort it out is Tuesday, between 12 and 4pm. So, I guess I'll just have to wait!
Thanks for replying.

Re: No Dial Tone

Have no dial tone either at the moment and the number is said to be unavailable when I call it. Have spoken to three people who turned out to be in the wrong department (via my mobile) and was put on hold to a fourth. This took 20 minutes after which I was cut off. ARGH!!!

Re: No Dial Tone

They came out as they said on the Tuesday and the guy went to the box on the street corner and came back in 15 minutes, tested it and it has fine ever since. My communication with them was all by e-mail, so it didn't really cost anything. HERE
