Telephone fitting charge when it already there

Hi,

Is this correct, just phoned up VM to add telephone our package, and was told it would be £30 fitting, however we already have the line fitted.

Is this to cover the engineer coming out, and should I be paying for it as it already there ?

This is to cover the engineer coming out.

And it is a standard charge even if all the wiring is already in place.

Ask them for self install, no call out charge then.

Re: Telephone fitting charge when it already there

That will work as long as you are not transferring your number across from BT. You can't have a self install with a Number Port
