Phone Installation Question

Had the Virgin £35 V+ package installed a week ago, unfortunately I wasn't present for the install.

Have just been out to buy a phone, but can't see where it should be plugged in

I have a cable from the Ex-Telewest plate on the wall going to a two-way splitter, this then splits to the modem and the V+ box.

So where does the phone plug in , or has something been missed from the installation?

As well as the coax cable coming from the wall plate there should also be a 'phone cable running to a master 'phone socket.

The phone line can often go into the house at a different place.

Who was in when it was installed? Maybe they know were the line socket is lol
