New installation...

Quick question regarding installation and registering of Virgin Media fixed phone service. I've a friend about to sign up for the TV and telephone deal, and she wants to keep her current BT line installed, so therefor doesn't want to move her BT number over to her Virgin line.

I take it that's still possible??

(and if so, how do you avoid automatically ordering virgin to keep your BT number when ordering online?)

Cable services should be sold separately, so, when she orders, BT won't even know she has, and as such her BT things will all still be intact.

VM will then install there kit as usual, which will mean a second phone line for her, one form BT (untouched) and one from VM.
Make sure the install crew know that the BT phone line is meant to be kept though, think there was a post not long back saying they cut the BT wire during install.
