Caller ID Ashford ,Kent, Update ?
Hi Just had a call on my virgin mobile telling me about VM Cable Broadband in my area. Caller was surprised to hear I had Virgin BB down the phone line (I also have virgin talk with BT line rental, none of this was on her system, neither was my wife's contract virgin mobile !). She said I SHOULD get it via cable as it was in my street. I said I did not as it would mean a VM phone service and that did not have caller ID. The caller was insistant caller ID was now available in Ashford (Kent), a colleague who lives 50 yards away cannot get caller ID on VM, who is right ??

without knowing what switch you are on it is hard to say whether caller id is available in your area.

I would think Ashford switch, ex-Bell cablemedia DMS 100.

I am in Ashford and have had Caller ID for about 3 months.

Its definately available. I have just had it switched on in Dover as well!

CLI was trialled in some areas and if you have it and it works, good on you!
If it stops working due to equipment issues at one of the local cabinet s however, it's not supported.
