Block outgoing calls

Hi,

I have virgin media phone line and wanted to block unathurised phonecalls made from my line. How do i do this? Is there PIN available to block and unblock outgoing calls instantly.

Call barring - £1.75 a month and you can block all outgoing calls (apart from free and emergency calls) unless you use a pin.

Thanks. I subscribed to this service and was told it will be activated within 24 hours. 24 hours has now passed but I am still able to make calls.

They told me to dial *80PIN# before making calls.

How do i activate call barring?

You don't. with the codes you have been given you are in a Operator controlled barring area

You tell virgin what you want barred. The codes they give you unlock the phone for that call only
