I've just had a problem with my phone, phoned CS, (forgetting to check here 1st) and asked about the intermittent dial tone, he said there was a problem he didn't know about so would send a technician out. Remembered this site and did a search, as a result I have just phoned to cancel said technician.
I have just learnt 3 lessons.
1: Check here 1st
2: Discovery of the 1571 service
3: I think that the people I spoke to might require some training into what said dial tone could mean.
(I'm off to sit at back of class and write 100 times "don't forget about cableforum again")
