Strange number
Hi,
I had a missed call today and the number was 0123456789, re-dialled it and the phone said the number was not valid. I am very intrigued as
to where the call came from and why it could not be called back!
Any ideas?

Because it is in no way a valid telephone number. It's just all the numbers on the keypad in order. Someone is fiddling the sytem to hide their telephone number so it's either a cold call from a call center or something similar.

Which to me would point to a call center as a lot of companies use call centers that connect via VOIP. I know BT for one do this for their Indian centers.

Your right, this can also be done on many "call centre" predictive diallers that are used here in the uk also.

I got one today from what seemed to be a Yank number... but no Yanks have my number...
I know one, and he only has my Mobile Number... 0017864375587.
