Strange phone calls

I've been getting weird calls on my mobile, the phone will ring once (if at all), I'll then get a missed call.

When the phone rang they didn't say who they where they wanted me to call them back, the number if I read ir correctly appears to come from the United Arab Emerates (+971509xxxxxx I've left the last 6 digits incase this is a UK No.)

They spoke in perfert english.

Re: Strange phone calls

There are a number of these con scemes going at the moment.
You just get a message to call them back and then you get put in a holding loop while they get credit for the calls. (0871 etc)

Just ignore them.

Re: Strange phone calls

You might find that they are MMS that cannot download because the settings are wrong, Mrs Swoop gets them from Voda.

Have you added anything to your account with them (offers, int roaming and the like)? Orange have a habit to send you sim updates.

You're suppose to delete them and reboot your phone.

Thanks for that info. I have rebooted, there appears to be no effect but if it helps then ok.
