Make sure you fully power down (unplug at the mains), for say five minutes. During that time, take the card out, wipe it on a clean dry cloth, put it back in. Repower and give it a while to sort itself. It may then download.
It's a good chance that ntl haven't sent the signal or recorded the replacement STB properly. If it wont reboot properly, phone NTL in the morning. Their faults are open Sundays now
