Best way is to uninstall the old ones before installing new ones as they can interact badly sometimes during an install. I haven't run a nortons product on my PC for years, there are a number of free Anti-virus tools and free firewalls available to download. If you like Nortons then keep it and pay for the upgrade, if you don't mind trying a freebie then go for it
