Erm you seem to have asked something slightly different in your blog, can you clear up one thing, do you want to be able to watch different cable channels on each tv at the same time? If so the answer is you cannot without additional STBs. If you only want to be able to view the same cable channel as downstairs on the upstairs tvs then you can do it by splitting the signal as suggested above.
