He then told me that tech support would contact me within the next 48 hours. ! week later and still no reply. i got my modem and soldering iron out and fixed it myself from which now is working ok but still has the disconecting problem. I never had this before they upgraded the speed. Everyday i have to reset the modem at least twice to get it to work for a while. Thats the reason i am going to get a new modem.

So has the service been faulty since you broke it or not? Either way your still going to have to call faults 0800 052200 (option 3) and book out an engineer to come and give you a new modem - and a charge for breaking the modem in the first place
