Switched off the STB at the mains. Switched on the CM and then rebooted the PC. THis got me an IP address. Then I ran the CD that I got given and got connected to start the registration process. Completed the registration process and am now connected at a full 2Mb connection. The down side being that I have now got a new user name and email address. How do I ensure that I don't lose the old one as I have had it for a few years now and am very fond of it?

contact technical support (0845 650 0925) and advise them that you have swapped from a STB to cable modem, and want to keep your old email address. They will then be able to migrate them so they will be active for as long as your SACM account is
