Solved it!!!
Switched off the STB at the mains. Switched on the CM and then rebooted the PC. THis got me an IP address. Then I ran the CD that I got given and got connected to start the registration process. Completed the registration process and am now connected at a full 2Mb connection. The down side being that I have now got a new user name and email address. How do I ensure that I don't lose the old one as I have had it for a few years now and am very fond of it?
