I also have this problem, having recently (yesterday) recieved a new CM, I cannot connect through this. THe IP address is 169 and what ever I try doesn't seem to work. I have been in touch with MicroSoft who have talked me through everything now and still no luck. NTL seem to think that this is an XP issue, but still no joy. The weird thing is that my STB is still active and I can connect to the Internet via the STB.

I have tried 3 different computers, running XP Pro, Media Edition and also Win98 (yes, I still have one of those!). No luck on any of these.

Any one help?
