Symantec Security Scan

I just did a security scan of my computer using symantecs security scan.

The IP address shown on the scan was 62.252.192.5 (cache2-mant.server.ntli.net) which is the proxy.

Does this mean it was scanning the proxy or my computer?

It must have been the computer as there is no way it can scan a proxy...

Its just showing you one part of the head - not all of it !

Re: Symantec Security Scan

What made me ask, was that the symantec scan states that I've got some issues.

It's just strange, that grc.com & the sygate scan show my IP address & say I'm okay.

Before the proxies were turned on here in Manchester, the scan showed as okay.

I was just wondering whether that has affected the symantec scan.

If it port scanned the proxy then that would explain it. What ports did it find open ?

I've just done the scan again and it's the same 3 ports open.

Thanks for your help.
