Both adaware and spybot are scanners to scan and get rid of spyware but SpywareGuard and SpywareBlaster prevent spyware getting onto your system in the first place in diffent ways. What i would like to know is what are the differences between them? and which one would be best to have on my pc?

I use Spywareblaster,Spybot, and Adaware and Ewido anti-spyware.Oh and Microsofts malware tool. Run those every so often. I don't have any trouble with spyware. Well so far. And i've had all these for ages now. Never used Spyguard. So i don't know what that is like.

Re: What are the differences between SpywareGuard & SpywareBlaster?

Well I have no problems with spyware and I never have used anything thats installed to prevent it.I block pop ups and clean up cache and cookies regular and scan with afformentioned tools and Avast warns me of possible malware instalation as well as being a virus scanner.I wont be adding anything else to hog my resourses

Re: What are the differences between SpywareGuard & SpywareBlaster?

spyware blaster protects you by adding a load of stuff to the restricted sites zone etc. and doesnt need to run in the background.

spyware guard runs in the background.

I would use spywareblaster and spybot sd they dont conflict.
