i have a problem...
hi guys, im having a few problems, someone else has been using the computer and its become infected with something, spybot - adaware - pestpatrol - spywareblaster - hijackthis have all been used, 'cureit!' seems to have picked up a trojan and im scanning my drive right now, however i still get popups and strange behaviour from IE when i browse any page.
anyone got any suggestions ?

browser hyjacker? what version of IE you using? on 6 click tool sand manage add ons see whats in there.Look for suspect names

nope im on sp1 so i dont have that option, since i last posted 8 infections were found and successfully treated!

I would also recommend switching to forefox after you have cleaned any spyware/malware etc.
Or turn your seurity settings up full on IE. this may limit some of the features on some websites but it will make you a little bit safer.
You can always add trusted sites if you are sure they are ok..
