Heh, looks as though it's this one. In which case, she could have got her data back very easily by using the correct password. 
Zeph's right that she needs to get clued-up about PC security... let's hope her nursing skills are better.

Its all about education. Who ever sold them the machine should also educate them about the problems you can encounter.
Most places dont give a crap so long as the £ hits the till.
