So I've finally returned to an android handset (i9100) - I was wondering. Is it worth installing an antivirus and if so - which one?

Avast free does not seem to make any difference to performance. Thing for me is the device could be used to spend my cash( worst case scenario) either from calls or google checkout so its worth protecting imo
As I already have Nod32 from Eset on my PC I went with the app that they have for Android..and I paid cold hard cash for peace of mind.
If your phone is your lifeline to online shopping,banking it certainly makes sense to protect it with an AV especially as the things cost so much money.
